Chaplain Daniel Hamman

Daniel and Carolyn, and their children (Abby, JD & Hunter) joined the Crossroads Ministry family in November 2017.  They felt the call of God to move to Crossroads and help with the ministry efforts.  Daniel is a licensed minister and also serves with the Army National Guard as a Chaplain, ministering to Soldiers and their Family members.


Daniel and Carolyn met at Mount Vernon Nazarene College and have been married since 2000. Both grew up as preachers kids, being raised in the Church of the Nazarene.  However, they started their life together in the Apostolic Church, was baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ and have received the Holy Ghost.


Daniel and his family comes to Crossroads with a wide range of ministry experiences.  Over the years, along with his current role as an Army Chaplain, Daniel has served as Multi-media Director, Youth pastor and Youth Drama Team Director.  His role with Crossroads begins with utilizing his technical skills in setting up the church Multi-media system.


Carolyn has been active in Children's ministries.  She has worked within the Sunday School ministry, creating a class for little ones as young as 6 months through 2 years of age.  Additionally, she has worked with toddlers on Wednesday evenings at their previous church in Mount Vernon. 


Currently, Carolyn is a Girl Scout Troop leader and is active within the Mount Vernon City Schools as a volunteer coach for Dan Emmett's 5th Grade Battle of the Books team.
